Depois da decepção de ver o Brasil ser eliminado, 

Segui torcendo pela Holanda - país pelo qual tenho enorme apreço e saudade de retornar. São familiares, amigos e amores que lá deixei, na breve estadia de um ano morando em Rotterdam. Circulando por todo o país: conhecendo, trabalhando e me divertindo.

Outra tristeza, talvez ainda maior, por se tratar da final. Nada tenho em particular contra a Espanha. Se fosse uma outra seleção o adversário, poderia ardentemente torcer e vibrar. Mas era a Holanda. A sensação que me toma, assalta, invade é a de luto duplo. 

Parabéns, Espanha. Campeã da Copa do Mundo de 2010.

After the disappointment of seeing Brazil being eliminated,
I started to support Holland - country for which I have enormous appreciation and longing to return. There are family, friends and lovers that I left there in my one year stay in Rotterdam. Circulating throughout the country: knowing, working and enjoying myself.
Another sadness, perhaps even greater, because it is the end of the World Cup. I have nothing particularly against Spain. If it were a different team the opponent, I could vibrate and ardently supporting the Fúria. But it was the Netherlands. The feeling frivolous now assails me, invade me and holds me is like a double grief.
Congratulations, Spain. Champion of the World Cup 2010.
